Personnel Changes
A couple of weeks ago we said goodbye to two VH members. Drummer Matt Koch was released from the band due to internal reasons. We’re not going to go into them but the fact was that things were not flowing smoothly between Matt and the band. We wish him the best of luck with future endeavors and his solo project, Towering Filth. At the same time, keyboardist Paul Scimone informed us that he no longer had the time required to devote to the band. Paul works for Stray Rescue Animal Shelter in St. Louis and that is his main focus. We also wish him well and will miss him.
In the meantime, Zach, Daniel and I have continued writing new material while searching for new members. We have a list of folks coming in over the next few weeks so we should be back up and running in no time. We will be playing Cicero’s in St. Louis, MO on June 22 and filling in on drums will be an old friend of mine, Jeff Hall. Jeff has played with numerous projects over the years and is one of the best drummers in STL. We’re jazzed to have him lend his talents and help us out of this jam.
You will be able to meet the new members here as we get them instated into the band and we’ll be back on the live circuit soon. Thanks for bearing with us!
